Rachelle Jespers

Rachelle is a writer living in Burbank, California, home of the movie studios. Ironically, she doesn't write for the movies, years ago deciding that she prefers the extra words you get to use when writing a novel. She likes words.

Rachelle has no regrets in life, other than that it took her so long to realize that she was a writer. While she was waiting for this epiphany she unknowingly did a lot of research for future novels by holding various types of jobs and living in different parts of the country. She has been a movie theater usher, a waitress, a bank teller, a production technician at a TV station, an intern for a film director, a sales associate for a high-end retailer, a receptionist for another TV station, a customer service representative and a librarian assistant. She has lived in Wichita, Dallas, San Francisco and Los Angeles.

The biggest influence in Rachelle's writing has been action-adventure films like "Back to the Future" and young adult books like "A Wrinkle in Time". She likes it when extraordinary things seem possible and that is the running theme through most of her novels. She hopes to bring a sense of magic to your everyday life, as she believes that life itself is rather magical.
