Walter Green

Walter Green was born in Memphis, went to high school in Melbourne, and stayed at the University of Tennessee long enough to become a problem for the faculty. Since he did so poorly at French in high school, the Air Force deemed he was the ideal candidate to become a Mandarin linguist and serve in Taipei, Taiwan. With a BA in theatre and two post grad programs under his belt, he returned to the real world to become a successful wallpaper installer.

He continued to write humor because it was cheaper than shrinks and pills and IBM would not hire him as his best suit had fringe on the sleeves. As the product of an unusually dysfunctional family, he had considerable training in the ironies of life. As a student of life, he became convinced that God had a sense of humor and he should fulfil his divine right to poke fun at everyone and everything.
