Carole Coon was born in Flushing, New York, attended Brockport State University in NY, majored in the field of teaching and then moved to Jupiter, Florida with her three sons. Years later, seeking more "breathing room", she and her husband, Richard moved farther north to Barefoot Bay, Florida.

Having a career which has spanned from church administration, mgr. of a national TV ministry and then over twenty-five years in insurance sales - life has proved to be an adventure of meeting people from all aspects of life.

She initially began her writings by publishing her novel which was inspired by the 1992 Gulf War and its mastermind, General Schwarzkopf. Much time was spent in research of all participants of the war, rules of conduct of the military personnel, understanding the Muslim culture, allowing Carole to publish: Circle of Deception. It's an adventure of war battles, terrorism, kidnapping, as well as an underlining love story which takes the reader to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Switzerland and Washington, DC. The sequel: The Inner Circle is underway. In the meantime, she has also published children's books....The "Almost" Angel, "Lost and Found" and soon "The Fire Engine That Cried". She treasures the ability to capture a child's heart and imagination.
