Sarah Baker-Hansen

Sarah Baker Hansen is the restaurant critic for the Omaha World-Herald, the largest newspaper in Nebraska.

Previously, she has worked as an art critic for the city's largest independent newsweekly, the Omaha Reader, served as the public relations director for the Sheldon Museum of Art, in Lincoln, Neb. and directed public relations for the state of Nebraska's Department of Travel and Tourism.

Baker Hansen has spent her entire life living in Omaha or Lincoln, scouring both cities for the best restaurants, greasy spoons, boutiques, thrift stores and dimly-lit bars.

The Insider's Guide to Omaha and Lincoln is her first book.
