Helen Dunn Frame is an accomplished businesswoman whose professional writing skills and love of travel culminated in the mystery GREEK GHOSTS, Love and Danger, in which many threads of her experiences were woven. The second book in the series WETUMPKA WIDOW, Murder for Wealth, is also available on Amazon in paperback and on Kindle.
With input from others, research, plus her own experiences, she published in October 2012 an anecdotal book called RETIRING IN COSTA RICA OR DOCTORS, DOGS AND PURA VIDA, to help Baby Boomers decide if it is feasible to retire in Costa Rica. Living abroad and traveling extensively in 50 countries, as well as having a Master's Degree in Sociology from New York University, has given Helen a deep appreciation for the value of diverse cultures.
Her fourth book, SECRETS BEHIND THE BIG PENCIL, Inspired by an Actual Scandal, was published last year. All four books can be found here: http://amzn.to/1JAPdFs
In 2008, Helen became Editor of the Coldwell Banker Costa Rica's Vista Magazine that not only listed properties and businesses for sale but offered information about the country, its people, as well as living and investing in Costa Rica.
A graduate of the Journalism School at Syracuse University, she has been published in major newspapers and magazines as well as trade publications in the United States, England, Costa Rica, and Germany. Once Publisher/Editor of the Real Estate Informer, she has edited newsletters, such as Uptown Voice, and other author's books. She has written columns both online and off (including a column for Inkwell Newswatch), created business proposals for clients, and spoken to groups about writing and publishing, handling Public Relations for clubs, and living in Costa Rica.
Helen also had a career as a commercial real estate broker in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex, specializing in retail and restaurants. Over the years she has been active in various organizations, including serving on the Board of Directors of some.
