Debbie S. Kirchen was born and raised in Los Angeles, California, and has had a series of careers that have included teaching for L.A. Unified School District, mid-level administration in women's reproductive healthcare, and graphic design. She believes in writing for the pure joy of self entertainment and her ultimate goal is that her books turn a dull Sunday into a vacation getaway for her readers.
