Robert Lee Engel

Robert Lee Engel (1940-) Robert is an architect and art historian, with a special interest in stolen art and artifacts. He ran an international architectural practice for 30 years. After retirement, the documentary "Rape of Europa" about looted art stimulated him to write The Puzzle Horse, his first novel. With its publication, Bob's second novel on artifacts stolen from China is in progress. Robert lives in South Carolina with his wife Gere where he lectures on art and architectural history, and runs a Lifelong Learning organization.
