My real name is Claude Forthomme, that's the name everyone who's met me at the United Nations knows. After working there 25 years and ending my career as FAO Regional Director for Europe and Central Asia, I decided to renew with my childhood passions (writing and painting). My books reflect my interests: I only write what I am passionate about!
I am Senior Editor at Impakter, a major online publication for Millennials that, with its special section on philanthropy and the United Nations, caters to the moral imperative of the new generations.
The photos on this page are a medley: a self-portrait, the portrait of Alice, the protagonist of "Gateway to Forever" and the cover of "Un Amore Dimenticato", the precursor to "Luna Rising" that I first wrote in Italian (it was published by a Sicilian press in 2007). There are also several photos of the Sicilian settings of "Luna Rising", in particular the mesmerizing Circle of Conversation ("Circolo di Conversazione") in the ancient baroque city of Ragusa (Sicily), a place well worth the visit.
