Michael Ore

Michael Ore is a full time soldier for the Ohio Army National Guard and a part time police officer for the Gahanna Police Department. He enjoys martial arts, music and spending time with family and friends. He was born in Germany where he and his mother and two brothers lived in one small room in his grandmother's apartment while his father was away in Vietnam. His favorite memories are of his childhood, growing up along the Rhine River; the river which he has written much about. He fully understands how blessed he is and he gives thanks daily for the richness in his life. This book of poetry was written over a span of more than twenty years. The words are meant to bring the reader back to a certain moment in his or her life and to bring the feeling of that long lost moment back to life.

Of note is that all sales proceeds go to "Choices"; a program for victims of domestic violence.
