Cheryl Faye Smith

Hi Everyone!

I'm Cheryl Faye and I'm privileged to be a part of Author Central. I am the author of 6 fiction romance titles, the latest, "Who Said It Would Be Easy? A Story of Faith", is my first in the Christian fiction genre and won the 2011 African American Literary Award in that category. It is the story of a young professional couple who are at very different places in their lives when first they meet, but whose mutual attraction and affection leads them on a course that eventually merges their life paths. As they journey together, they learn to hold fast to their faith in God through trials and tragedy until they find their way to joy.

My other titles include, "Be Careful What You Wish For", "First Love", "A Test Of Time", A Time For Us", and "At First Sight."

I've take a few years off from writing to finish college and I'm proud to say that journey has been completed -- with honors. I am presently working on my next book, an inspirational/motivational story I hope you will enjoy.
