Sharon Vander Meer

Sharon Vander Meer is a retired journalist with a background in community development and public relations. She is a mom, wife, grandmother, great grandmother and prolific writer. She has published articles in newspapers and magazines in the southwest, is the former owner of a small town weekly newspaper, has published an on-line zine and most recently published an alumni magazine for a state university. Her blog www.vandermeerbooks.com is gaining readership with its variety of topics and Q&A interviews.

She was born in Arizona in 1944 and has lived her entire life in the southwest, primarily in northern New Mexico. Her greatest joys are her faith, family, reading and writing.
