Chris Danielson

Chris Danielson is a Fulbright Scholar, published author, and expert on the Civil Rights Movement and race and U.S. politics. Born and raised in Houston, Texas, he attended the University of Houston, where he received his BA in History and MA in United States History. He attended the University of Mississippi for his PhD, which he received in 2006. In 2024, he served as a Fulbright Scholar at the University of Pécs in Hungary. His current research interests include the moral panics of 1980s America and how they mobilized grassroots conservative activists.
