Mark D. Larabee

Mark D. Larabee, PhD, is a former professor of English at the U.S. Naval Academy, where he taught English and ethics after many years at sea. He is the author of books and articles on Joseph Conrad, Ford Madox Ford, WWI writing, Japanese literature, and teaching literature and art. His research and writing have won national awards, and he is the first-ever recipient of the U.S. Naval Academy’s Military Professor Teaching Excellence Award. Since 2009 he has served as Executive Editor of Joseph Conrad Today, the official publication of the Joseph Conrad Society of America.
