Ann Kingsolver

Ann Kingsolver is the Director of the Appalachian Studies Program and Center at the University of Kentucky. Her single-authored books include NAFTA Stories: Fears and Hopes in Mexico and the United States (Lynne Rienner Publishers, 2001) and Tobacco Town Futures: Global Encounters in Rural Kentucky (Waveland, 2011). She edited More than Class: Studying Power in U.S. Workplaces (SUNY Press, 1998), and - with Nandini Gunewardena - The Gender of Globalization: Women Navigating Cultural and Economic Marginalities (SAR Press, 2007). Kingsolver has been studying comparative interpretations and experiences of globalization for over 25 years.
