Rod Eder

Rod Eder served as a private soldier with the New Zealand infantry in Vietnam in 1968, as part of a three-year Tour of Duty. Back in the civilian world, he was a professional firefighter, and became Senior Station Officer at St Albans, Christchurch, New Zealand. He and his wife had three children. Rod died in 2008 of an Agent-Orange related cancer, aged 62.
