MAX PORTER

Max Porter has been a professional horseman his entire adult life. His career has encompassed every phase of the horse industry from buying and selling to training. He trained everything from jumping horses to racehorses. He served as a racing official for a dozen years on a circuit that included racetracks from Chicago to Hot Springs Arkansas. He describes his life as a magic carpet ride that allowed him to associate with the rich and famous without being either. He writes about things he knows, so the action is believable. If you read one of his books, you will most likely read another. A lifelong horseman he writes both mysteries and racetrack novels. He lives in an RV and travels the country, writing full-time.
