Leighann McCoy

Let me tell you who I am in relationship to the people I love: I am Misty and River's "Nana," Mikel, Kaleigh and TJ's "mama," Tom's wife, Mike and Lounette's daughter, Mitzi and Amy's sister. Thompson Station Church's "pastor's wife" AND "family and prayer minister," Joy, Meagan and Abigail's 9th Grade Sunday School Teacher, and Bella's feeder.

I enjoy movie theater popcorn, even if it does have thousands of calories. Anything chocolate will do fine. And give me a good strong cup of coffee in the morning and something a bit sweet at night, and we will be friends forever.

For fun I talk. That's why I especially have fun in my ministry of speaking and writing--it's a place I can talk without being interrupted. A woman's dream!

For more fun I enjoy traveling--mostly with my family to the mountains, to the beach, to ski (both water and snow), to relax and to swim with dolphins. I've recently begun taking people to Israel with my husband and have decided of all the places in the world, that little spot of earth is the most amazing.

My favorite part of writing comes when I am all alone in my "laughing place" (in the NC mountains) plunking away on my computer when fun, deep and maybe even new insights come my way and I like the way they land on the page.
