Scott Mueller Author/Dog Trainer has been training dogs and their owners since 1975. Scott has also been training professional Dog Trainers since 1979. He has taught over 1,800 trainers in the US and over 40 foreign countries at the National K9 School for Dog trainers which he founded in 1979.
Scott has dedicated much of his career being proactive in puppy development. He has sold over 750,000 copies of his puppy manual "Mueller's Official Puppy Manual" now in its 9th edition. Most of these copies going directly to Veterinarians and dog trainers since 1996.
Scott co-founded the first assistance dog program aimed at helping those with physical disabilities in 1976 called Support Dogs Inc. His program eventually merged with CCC in San Rafael, California. It was during this time that Scott realized just how important it was to get puppies early enough to properly socialize and train them shaping their life long behavior and character.
Scott's most recent book "Essential Guide to Puppy Development" was the result of the puppy manuals in teaching other how to develop proper puppy developing skills. As Scott says "we are loosing 3-5 million dogs and puppies annually due to a lack of training and proper socialization" This book is written for both the professional and pet care profession.
