I've been writing now for a long time. Mostly I enjoy the days of the big timber camps and lumberjacks. I've been journaling for several decades. I was born just after WW2 during an amazing era of rebuilding in our country. Life was gentler back then and I enjoyed knowing a lot of very colorful people. Then one day I started to write about them.
I guess the central theme of my books is the outdoors. As a kid I spent many hours paddling down the lakes and rivers where adventure was abundant.
Another common thread is that my books reflect the gentler time I was most familiar with. All my books are the kind you can read to your kids and grandkids.
Life now is in the winding down stage. I live in the big pines of northern Minnesota. We have a lot of critters trying to eat my chickens but so far I'm winning the battle
So stop in sometime. We'll share a cup of coffee and a tale or two.
