Mmm, Nice Suit! Not mine unfortunately, hired for my son's wedding.

One of my children I originally wrote the book for....!

Mmm, must write more quickly....!

Anyway, married and children, best part of my life although it does not always seem like it at the time. So busy working I missed them growing up. Worst part of manual labour I suppose. Something I still have to do on a regular basis.

Writing is a hobby which I love but it is immensely time consuming. However, books two and three are planned. Sorry, there is no escape, More Cats Tails (The Further Adventures of Rommy & Reemy) I have started now and then there will be; Still More Cats Tails (The Continuing Adventures of Rommy & Reemy)

(Should be up for the longest title if nothing else. LoL!)

I'm in my middle fifties now, four grandchildren already! And more on the way!

I left school at fifteen, just before the leaving age went up, without any qualifications. Did not really need them, or so I thought. Went straight in t'mill. Woollen and Worsted Spinning. I received some City & Guilds Certificates for attending college, whooppee! Mind you, you would be hard pushed to find a mill now! After a while doing that I got another job that paid a bit more then somewhere down the line things got rough and I moved the family on to a boat for a few years. I thought it was great, the wife thought it was okay but looking back I reckon the children were not at all keen. They got a bit of stick from other kids at school, that kind of thing. Anyway, this one is for you Joanne, Dawn, and Karl.

But at least this first book grew from that and to me it is a fantastic achievement. I've actually managed to finish something!! My sincere wish is for this book to be read and enjoyed by young and old alike.

Also, I was lucky in that I could draw on the talents of a locally well known artist called Geoff Flitton to do the front cover and the inside illustrations. Geoff is well known for his landscapes and local beauty spots in both water-colours and oils.

Many thanks to him.

Right then, just a quick note. Animal stories usually have sad endings, but I can't do with that so here is the plan for Cats Tails.

One book is already out, the second being written. Two more are planned so that should tell you the future of the main characters is safe. Whooppee! Mind you, everybody knows that the heroes always win in the end anyway so no news there. However, the supporting characters will come and go as in life and there is always room for pathos and tragedy, just to remind us of just how good life really is! So, get yourself settled down, shut t'curtains and fasten your seatbelts, 'cos it's gonna be a lolloping ride!!

Ta-ra for now.
