I grew up on Long Island, NY. Since 2001, I have resided in upstate NY.
I inherited my love of books from my mother, who taught me to read when I was three years old. Pretty soon I was devouring every book in sight, again and again! I began writing poetry in second grade, long short stories in fourth grade, and songs shortly thereafter.
My first book, A Little Company, was published by Outskirts Press in 2007. It is a horror/ suspense, fictional work. I later republished it through Amazon as In the Deep North Woods, with slight revisions. Tricked, published in 2009, is a Young Adult Thriller. My next book, Finding My Father: A Search for the Truth in the Face of Alzheimer's, came out in 2011. I want to publish a second edition someday, adding a chapter or two about my father's final years. Other books I've published are: My Life With Cats, Poems of a High School Loser and After the Fire. The latter is a true story about a house fire that displaced me and several other people and how I rebuilt my life afterwards. I'm very excited to publish an anthology of short horror stories, called Long Story Short in 2024.
My favorite authors are Stephen King, Edgar Allan Poe, and Laura Ingalls Wilder.
Besides writing, I enjoy music, cats and helping others. I have worked in radio for over thirty years.
