Savannah Cemeteries was a collaboration with my nephew, Matt Propst, a photographer in the Savannah, Georgia area. I have always been interested in cemeteries not only as a genealogical resource, but as a source of cultural information.

My professional background is education, and I have often used cemeteries and cemetery information as a teaching tool. I am also involved in local research and the mapping of abandoned or little-known cemeteries to ensure their preservaton.
