Steve Leadley

Steve Leadley is best known for his works of Historical Mystery Fiction. He taught American History in Cape May, NJ for over 30 years.

Living in Cape May County, it should come as no surprise that a number of his books are set in Cape May, Ocean City, and Wildwood—all being perennial favorites with the tourists who flock to the Jersey shore each summer. Steve’s Sherlock Holmes pastiches are highly regarded by fans of the great detective the world over. His other works range from a popular mystery series set during the Revolutionary War, to other set during World War I, Abe Lincoln’s youth, and the antebellum South.
