Hi, I'm Dana Precious. I've been writing for most of my life and started out as an advertising copywriter. I grew up in Muskegon, MI then spent a long time in Los Angeles working at film studios to create movie trailers, TV spots, posters and stuff like that. My first novel, BORN UNDER A LUCKY MOON, was published by Harper Collins. It's Chic Lit that's similar to (if I may be so bold) Ya Ya Sisterhood or Fried Green Tomatoes. My new comedic, murder mystery series MURDER IN MALIBU: A MISS MERRY MAC MYSTERY was just released. I humbly suggest that it is in the vein of Agatha Christie meets Janet Evanovich. I moved back to Muskegon, MI. a couple of years ago to raise my son (August, now 16 years old) in a saner environment than L.A. and to be near my family. We have a ginormous chocolate labrador named Finnley and a cat named Thunder The Adventure Kitty.
