Psychology, technology, propaganda, and the moral implications of all three have fascinated Misti since she first noticed how people with power tend to abuse it. (And read her mother's psychology textbooks at 9-ish.) She now writes stories that explore control and the boundaries where helpful becomes hurtful, while her cat tries to steal sips of her coffee.
