Stuart Davis

I spent the first 20 years of my working life as a news photographer and feature writer for The Record of Hackensack, N.J. and chief photographer at the Daily Record of Morristown, N.J., where I continued to write and photograph numerous feature stores as well as sub for columnists on vacation.

During my younger years I held a private pilot's license, and a Coast Guard Merchant Marine 100 ton license. I lived on a sailboat for ten years with my late wife and edited a 10 page monthly newsletter to like-minded sailors and liveaboards.

While at the Daily Record I finished the first draft of my thriller novel Seaquake and now twenty-five years later, have begun a rewrite.

I'm the father of three daughters and five grandchildren.

My most exciting achievement began during my 75th year when I criss-crossed the USA on a three year, 88,000 mile motorbike trip and then publishing a book of the first two years of my travels, called Following The Yellow Line.
