De Kenyon likes to cook and eat weird food that tastes good but grosses people out when they find out what’s in it, like chocolate truffles with fish sauce, fish heads, or tongue sandwiches. She lives in Colorado with her husband and daughter. Her latest book for kids is Guinea Pig Apocalypse, a tale of adventure, mad scientist parents, and giant guinea pigs.
