Norma J Washington

Norma Washington, MPsy, is a psychologist, pastor, and author whose work explores what happens to women when life changes the story they thought they were living.

In her nonfiction, she brings psychology and Scripture together to help spiritually minded women understand disappointment, identity disruption, emotional confusion, and life transitions. She is the creator of the Make Sense Method™, a psychological framework with a scriptural foundation built around three movements: Recognize, Rebuild, and Realign.

As a fiction writer, Norma explores many of those same themes through stories of complicated women navigating family, faith, betrayal, secrets, survival, and second chances.

Norma is the author of the Make Sense Method™ book series, beginning with Nothing Was Wrong With Her: Making Sense of the Woman in the Mirror When Life Didn't Go as Planned, as well as the novel Ashes Don't Tell Everything: Some Secrets Refuse to Stay Buried.

Her work, whether through psychology or storytelling, asks women to look beyond what happened and understand what it changed.
