Shawn Ritenour

Shawn Ritenour is Professor of Economics at Grove City College and senior fellow at the Ludwig von Mises Institute. Ritenour earned a B. A. in economics from Northwestern College in Orange City, Iowa, and completed his Ph.D. in economics in 1997 at Auburn University in Auburn, Alabama. Prior to coming to Grove City College, Ritenour was holder of the Ruby Letsch-Roderique Chair of Economics at Southwest Baptist University and served as visiting professor at the University of Angers, France. Ritenour has taught economics for twenty-seven years and has also been an economist at the United States Bureau of Labor Statistics. He is happily married to his wife and they have two daughters.
