Joseph Osei

Joseph Osei,Professor of Philosophy & Religion was born at Kokofu, Ghana, in 1951. He graduated from University of Ghana in 1981 with honors in Philosophy & Religion. He completed M.A in Philosophy in 1986 at Ohio University and the PhD in Philosophy at Ohio State University in 1991. He has taught at Northern Illinois University, Univ. of Ghana, University of Cape Coast, Trinity Theological Seminary in Ghana, University of South Florida, Auburn University, and currently teaches at Fayetteville State University/UNC. He is an ordained minister and University Chaplain for Methodist Church, Ghana. He has published dozens of peer reviewed articles and book chapters.His latest books include The Challenge of Sustaining Emergent Democracies (2009) and Ethical Issues in Third World Development (2011. Dr. Osei is also the Editor-In-Chief for the online journal Philophical Papers and Review (PPR)

He is married to Mrs.Victoria Osei and their children are Lucy, Gina, Suzie, Miriam and Ema.
