Alice Lynn, a native Oregonian, relates that some of her happiest, early memories are of horseback riding through wilderness trails and swimming in Butte Creek. When the inspiration came to write Volunteer for Glory, she knew there would be hours of research, but the story and its characters would not be denied. Ms. Lynn lives with her husband and three cats. She earned a degree in Psychology at Marylhurst University in 1999. She is currently finishing a third novel.
