Wendy's novel I MURDERED THE PTA received an honorable mention in the 2006 Writer's Network Screenwriting & Fiction Competition and was a top five finalist out of nine hundred entries in Court TV's 2006/2007 "Search for the Next Great Crime Writer" contest. I MURDERED THE PTA was published by Zumaya Enigma in 2011. The second book in the series of Daphne Lee-Lee Misadventures, I MURDERED THE SPELLING BEE, was released May 2012.

Wendy's novella, the comedic thriller THRIFT ME DEADLY, was a top three finalist in the 2009 Fabri Literary Prize contest. She has also won awards for her humorous short stories, poems and essays.

A native Southern Californian, Wendy Dager was named one of America's Most Unique Characters by USA Network in its "Show Us Your Character" competition.
