Robert Scott worked for America Online for nearly a quarter-century in-house and as a consultant and continues to work for them as a consultant from his home in Southwest Florida
During that time he wore many "hats," from "guiding" members through using the service, hosting online events with luminaries such as authors Tom Clancy and the late Timothy Leary; actors Don DeFore, Tony Dow and scores more; to developing, writing and hosting online game shows. Currently he provides "troubleshooting" for users.
Among his hobbies he lists daily bike rides, often logging 20 or more miles, swimming, people-watching, gardening and maintaining his home near the Gulf of Mexico.
"RJ," as he's known online, is a true pet lover. In the past 41 years he's had 7 dogs. All of them eventually had to be "put down," undoubtedly the most heartbreaking decision a pet owner will ever need to face.
Thus the basis for his story: It's a combination of fiction, mixed with fact, based on experiences with the "ladies in my life," Kim, Tammy, Heidi, Heidi II, Lady I, Lady II and primarily Lady III.
Bound to appeal to pet lovers everywhere, the story is happy, sad and tragic, yet ends with an uplifting experience that pet lovers everywhere are certain to love.
