Jeff Shields

My name is Jeff Shields and I live in Hertfordshire, UK. I have published two books on Kindle, 'Surviving Alien Earth', which is a self help manual for psychologically repressed people and 'Hayley Bridge Heights' an amusing novel that will cheer you up after the first one.

I got into writing after working as a television subtitler. I studied scripts at close hand and got used to editing text so it fitted between time codes. I hope this has made my writing sparse and more economical. It's like thinking about the picture first and then describing it.

I hope I can find plenty of good stories to describe over the years ahead.
