Norma Mathieson

Norma Mathieson is a teacher of business subjects in East Lothian. She enjoys bringing her creativity to school resources and wrote for the Active Learning series to make the subjects of Business and Enterprise more realistic and accessible for learners.

Norma has received positive feedback from colleagues, both in her own Business and other subjects. In line with CfE, the books can be used within various subjects, as highlighted by the "Make the Link" feature.

Norma writes fiction as Alex Cormack and for young readers as Anna McGovern. She is currently on a career break from school and is concentrating on her writing.

Norma is the mother of one grown-up daughter, Katy, and has a baby grandson, Matthew.
