Michael Friedlander

Michael Friedlander is a South African attorney who now lives in Los Angeles. He grew up in South Africa during the height of apartheid and has a profound understanding of the brutal power of the government Nelson Mandela faced. Michael also has a profound understanding of Nelson Mandela's towering moral authority and the remarkable negotiating skills he displayed during his historic negotiations with the apartheid government. Friedlander has lived and worked in Johannesburg, London, Zurich, Paris, Montreal and Los Angeles. After founding a law firm in Los Angeles, he became the CEO of an international music company and the CEO of an international architectural design company. For the past 30 years, he has negotiated agreements around the world and is regarded as an expert negotiator. He is a member of the California bar.
