Hasan, M.D. Murshed

Dr. Hasan Murshed is a Radiation Oncologist practicing in Panama City, FL. He earned his M.D. from Dhaka University in Bangladesh and a Master of Science in Clinical Medical Physics from Louisiana State University. He completed his PGY II and III Residency at the Radiation Oncology Department of the National Cancer Institute (NCI) at the National Institutes of Health (NIH). Dr. Murshed then served as Chief Resident for PGY Levels IV and V in Radiation Oncology at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, finishing his residency in 2002.

He continued his training with a PGY VI IMRT/Gating Fellowship at MD Anderson Cancer Center from 2002–2003, specializing in Intensity Modulated Radiation Therapy (IMRT), an advanced and highly precise cancer treatment.

Dr. Murshed has authored numerous publications in cancer and radiation oncology, including Fundamentals of Radiation Oncology, 4th Edition, published by Elsevier/Academic Press in July 2024 and used in academic institutions worldwide.
