T. L. Needham

T. L. Needham's new novella, The She Wolf, is a coming of age fantasy, about a boy, desperate to find his lost dog. The lonely teen enters the woods, only to find a realm beyond his world. Along the way, he discovers an inner strength and resolve, and comes to appreciate and love the natural surroundings of this new home and its inhabitants. T. L. Needham, is an award winning author and a native of Kansas City. He grew up with tales of survival of his mother's family, who endured life during the 1920s and 1930s in western Kansas. This inspired him to write the historic memoir--When I Was A Child, which was honored with an HONORABLE MENTION in WRITER'S DIGEST INDIE BOOK AWARDS, plus a FINALISTS by USA BOOK NEWS--BEST BOOKS AWARD in the category of History-USA. Needham published a children's Christmas story poem called KITTY CLAUS with charming illustrations by his grand child Lizzy Dodig, who is still in high school. This book was honored with a GOLD MEDAL from READERS FAVORITE in the category of children's picture books about animals.

His publishing background is extensive. Needham published--When I Was A Child, in 2011; PESKY POEMS, a collection, in 2008; KITTY CLAUS, the illustrated children's Christmas story poem in 2012. He is the author of--Winning and Keeping Relocation Business (1986). Needham also founded and wrote for Relocation/Realty UPDATE news magazine during the 1980s and 90s, and was publisher of Kansas City Parent magazine. Needham was a national speaker and trainer on corporate relocation and real estate issues during the 1980s and 1990s. He lives in Illinois.
