Ross Shafer

As a TV host, producer, and writer, Ross Shafer led his teams to win 22 Emmy Awards. After watching dozens of televisions succeed - and fail, Ross became a student of the human attention span and buying behavior. So in 1994, he started writing about his experiences. To date, Ross has written and produced (14) Human Resource training films and authored (4) books on customer service, leadership, and motivation. In 2006, Ross formed the Customer Empathy Institute in collaboration with California State University at Monterey Bay to help leaders discover the emotional connections between customer relationships and money.
