Sarah Brush is Director of Cuddesdon: Gloucester and Hereford and Vice Principal at Ripon College Cuddesdon where she works as a theological educator supporting those in training for lay and ordained ministry alongside independent students. She teaches Theological Reflection, and Ministry courses. She is a trustee of the St Christopher's Education Trust and the Theological Educators Network. From 2023-2025 she was Chair of the British and Irish Association for Practical Theology and a member of the International Association for the Study of Youth Ministry. She is on the Editorial board of the Practical Theology Hub. She has been a volunteer at the Greenbelt Festival for over fifteen years
With a wide ranging experience of ministry in the church, Sarah has previously been a parish youth minister in High Wycombe before becoming Diocesan Youth Officer for Worcester in 2008, and then an ordained priest and curate in the Church of England serving in the Halas parish.She has been on the boards of Severn Valley Youth For Christ and the Worcestershire YMCA and served as a governor at three different Church of England Primary schools. On a national level Sarah was on the Church of England National Board of Education and served for two years on General Synod representing the clergy of the Diocese of Worcester.
Sarah's theological work is eclectic, including Medieval History, Chaplaincy, Youth Ministry, Confirmation, Liturgy, and Faith Development. She has spoken at events for various organisations including the Growing Faith Foundation and the Prayer Book Society.
She is a Lino-cut artist and increasingly her artistic and theological work intertwine. She is supported in ministry by her cockerpoo The Moog who holds the honorary title of Chaplain at Cuddesdon Gloucester Hereford.
