I lived for part of my life in and around Baltimore. Born in the year the Orioles started there. In my formative years I got hooked on books... mostly I read and read and read. Then I tried writing. I had to deal with living and working and... reality until I had the opportunity to write with more dedication. I never stopped reading... I wrote whenever I could and kept track of the ideas that inspired me to do more. As a reader I've always paid more attention to the stories and characters an author creates, rather than about the author him/herself. It was always nice to find out tidbits of their lives but... their stories were what interested me. In this day of instant info things are different... I believe you'd want to know more about me only if you enjoy my stories. I hope you do.

In time I created my own unique worlds.

Baltimore, of The Merged Worlds, came of a desire to put the witch I met, Pepper Paull, into her world, the place that would have evolved such a person. Of more interest than the worlds were the complexities of the characters, and it is the people that make the story. Once I entered Pepper's world I met other people, like Stacey Bowen, now a vampire, with stories worth sharing. There are more tales coming of that world and I'm attempting to set them forth in a reasonable chronological order but with so much happening some tales overlap and I hope you can bear with me.

Currently I have published three of Pepper's books and three of Stacey's books from the Merged Worlds. Pepper's fourth book is on its way. The series runs through a particular story arc of inter-related tales which brings to life new characters or shares more of the lives of some of the characters already introduced. There will be nine books in the 'Magic' story arc, culminating in the war we see coming. Stories from the Merged Worlds don't end... there are more coming from ten years after this war, introducing new characters and new conflicts.

Besides The Merged Worlds, which is fantasy, I'm publishing a series I refer to as Sea Scape, so named because the character telling the stories is Sea, a female guard in the far distant future who becomes much more... this is a science fiction series. The first book is published as an ebook called Sea's Dance. The second book, titled Sea's Turn, is on the way.
