Vickie Johnstone

Hi, I live in London, UK, and I have self-published 17 books. I work as a magazine sub-editor. I love reading, writing, films, the sea, art, animals (especially cats), nature, rock music, Milky Bar and travelling.

Kiwi and the Serpent of the Isle was a finalist in the Children's Books section of the National Indie Excellence Book Awards 2013. I Dream of Zombies was a finalist in the Horror section of the same competition in 2014.

As I edit indie books for a living, you might see other books alongside mine in the UK bookshop when you do a search. The ones I've written have my name as the author.

The Kiwi Series is written for readers aged 9 up. They follow the adventures of a magical cat called Kiwi and her two human friends, Amy and James. With a flick of her tail, Kiwi magically changes the two children into kittens and takes them to her other home, Cat City, and to other new worlds.
