Sheila McCormick

Sheila McCormick has worked as a free lance journalist writing primarily for New England Horse Talk and the MA South Coast paper, The Freebird Times. Besides a number of interview and essay pieces, she published Cousin Andrew, a contemporary romance, in 2002. She has previously published poetry in the Cambridge, MA based literary magazine, Ploughshares. She's a graduate of Massachusetts College of Art and has studied business at Simmons College.

Since many of her works are full of horse lore, it’s fitting to say that she's also a longtime horsewoman. To support that luxury she works as a technical solutions architect for EMC Corporation in Hopkinton, MA where she has also written articles for a company internet newsletter.
