Elizabeth Ann Scarborough is the author of 38 fantasy/science fiction books, including the Nebula-award winning HEALER'S WAR and most recently, SPAM VS THE VAMIRE co-authored with rainbow cat Kittibits (furmally known as K.B. Dundee). She also co-authored 16 with Anne McCaffrey, most recently and in print as well as e-book and audio book versions, CATALYST (2009-2010 Del Rey Books) and CATACOMBS (2010-2011 Dec Del Rey Books), the Tales of the Barque Cats.

Ann has written 21 solo novels (including HEALER'S WAR), as well as over 50 short stories (many about

cats). She is the editor of 4 short story anthologies.

Ann co-wrote Clawless with friends from UnitedCats.com and her four cats, Kittibits (aka K.B. Dundee, now residing at the Rainbow Bridge) played Wee Jock, Alphonse (more recently re-christened Tomcat Ford), Arfur Le Claw (Cisco, extant) , both Clyde and Clawde Le Claw (Pancho, also extant), and wicked attorney Furry Faceon (The Late Great Treat also of the Rainbow Bridge).

On United Cats (UC)., CLAWLESS appeared originally as a "for-fun" project in the TOP CAT MODELS R US Club ran by Pancho, who plays both Clyde and Clawde.

Cisco, the mild mannered Arfur in CLAWLESS, is also known as SupurrCiscoo, the leader of the League of Super Cat Heroes on UC. He will soon have his own book too, though he wishes it could be a proper comic book. He wants everyone to know he does not require a phone booth to change from Arfur to SupurrrCiscooo. He can hide behind a sofa to put on his cape.

Ms. Scarborough provided proof reading and copy editing services for Clawless as well as writing the furrward, and during the original creation of the original Clawless, did a lot of cat herding.

Spam Vs the Vampire is currently available as a print-on-demand book as well as an e-book edition. All of her other books are available as e-books on Amazon.com as Kindle books, Barnes&Noble as Nook Books, and on Smashwords as Sony, Kobo, and Deisel books. Coming soon: all titles on Google ebooks.

SPAM VS THE VAMPIRE is Mr. Dundee's first novel, but he is already in the early pages of a sequel, SPAM AND THE TOUR BUS OF DOOM (with Zombies!).

Cisco, Pancho, and their mom live in Port Townsend, WA, the inspiration for Port Deception in the Spam (cat) series. Scarborough is a former army nurse and RN and is a well-known bead artist and designer, folk music fan, and of course, cat staff.

Christine Wilson is well known for her novels, The Kimmy Diaries featuring the famous 'Kimmy', star of CLAWLESS, The Kimmy Diaries, and Kimmy's Irish Diary. A former television diva her self, Christine knew what it would take to make Kimmy a star. With the support of Elizabeth Ann Scarborough and, the also famous, Mr. Kittibits, Christine fashioned (<--pun) the idea for the House of LeClaw into a soap opurra for cats.

Christine lives in lovely Northern Ireland with her ginger fur-baby Ollie (he is despurrate to apurr in a soap opurra), who loves to keep her from her rest as he prowls the neighborhood until the wee hours of the morning!

Join Christine and Polter (RIP) Kimmy's fan base on facebook and don't forget that your purchase of CLAWLESS benefits her once-local animal charity, Bath Cats and Dogs Home, where Kimmy came from.

Anne Sutton is Mugger's mother - or rather, his devoted slave. As she writes this, Mugger is sprawled on her pillows, dirty feet and all. It is his

feeling that since Ms Sutton has neither children nor husband, it is his

duty to be as annoying as possible, and he's quite a success at it.

Ms Sutton currently works in the real world at a boring job for the Federal Aviation Administration, but she does not consider that to be her life.

As a UnitedCats.com member, Ms Sutton gets a lot more enjoyment out of watching and participating in the antics of the four-legged Masters of the Universe.

When not attending to the needs of Mugger, Ms Sutton can be found reading a good book, or playing a computer game, or walking around the neighborhood discreetly peeking in other people's windows, or visiting with the firefighters at the station around the corner as she frequently brings them cookies and books she thinks they will enjoy. She finds it a pity that all

of them are young enough to be her grandchildren.

Rebecca Gresham is the mother of Akasha and was renown for proudly eating for two for three months while she was 'expecting' Asha from the breeders. ;-)

Over the past 3 years Asha has taught Rebecca the art of Zen and she now shares with her the love of quality napping, eating and taking time out for morning yoga/mediation... they do indeed both belong to the "Sisterhood of purrpetual indulgences!"

When not tending to Asha's every whim and desire, Rebecca works in an Art Gallery (mostly part time) while she completes her PhD in Art theory/history.

Asha often purrvides much-needed company and warms the computer keyboard in order to help motivate Rebecca to write her thesis. It was actually in a bout of writer's block and purrcrastination that Rebecca discovered United Cats and found an ideal way to revel in something else-- other than her thesis-- that was creative.

Rebecca delighted in undertaking the role of Purrdita on behalf of Asha in Clawless and she modelled her on Asha's tempurrament (ie a total purrincess who had a penchant for yoga and wearing expensive designer outfits from Purrada and Purrsace) ...basically being a spoilt brat! ...errr, or was that modelled on her own tempurrament???! ...nevermind... but most impurrtantly it was an honour and a delight for her to be involved in a project such as Clawless and to write alongside many fine writers.... and always finding ways to include/invent as many *purr* puns as she purrsibly could! :-P

Rachael Sharma is a proud wife and mother of two grown children, one step daughter (grown and the giver of three grand-children), one fighting-fish, and three (spoiled) fur-babies (GEO, Squishy, and Pebbles). CLAWLESS is the first book effort she has had the pleasure of participating in. Her kitten, Squishy was asked by Christine Wilson to play the part of the mischievious, gambling, orphan, kitten Domino.

Also being a member of UnitedCats.com , Squishy's assistant (and sister) GEO was later offered the part of Domino's twin brother and future fashion designer, Lego. There may be a sequel in Rachael's future if Domino--err, Squishy, has anything to meow about it.

Rachael is currently studying child developement and majoring in psychology at California State University, Chico. She graduated Butte College 2011 with AA Degree's in University Studies, and Social and Behavioral Science.

Rachael is developer and administrator for this CLAWLESS Official Site, CLAWLESSbook@twitter, as well as a frequent participant in the upkeep of the CLAWLESS facebook page--where you don't want to miss GEO's CLAWLESS Quote of the Week or Squishy's Contests!

Cathrine Garnell lives in Nottingham, England. Along with CLAWLESS, she is the author of children's book Basil the Bionic Cat, and an adult historical fiction, The Cross of Ramplet, which she co-authored with friend Tim Thompson from the States. Both books are available as E-Books and on Kindle.

Cathrine is busy writing a new novel. She says, "it''s only in it's infant stages at the moment but hey, you have to start somewhere!" When she's not writing, Cathrine works in the accounts department of a garage.

About her experience with Clawless she says, "There was no set formula to the writing, it was just a case of who got there first with their characters and that's how it evolved, which added to the mystery, as you never knew exactly what was going to happen next. The only thing you could be certain of, it was probably going to be outrageous."

Cathrine's characters are "played" by her three cats Basil, Amber and Humphrey. "It was a lot of fun, but also, trying to second guess what eight other authors were going to do was quite a challenge."

Teri Offield is a mother of 5 and grandmother of 5, and has 3 fur-babies. She went back to school at a late age and is currently working on her Bachelors' in Health Science. For fun, Teri loves to play darts and talk to her friends on Facebook.

Teri didn't start out as a cat lady. She let her two of her kids adopt two kittens, the kids grew up, moved out and mom got the cats. They are Boots and Mr.. A few years later a scraggly black cat that was torn up crossed her path. After months and many days of Teri washing his sores, feeding him and bringing him back to life, they fell in love with each other. The neighborhood named him Lou. A beautiful black cat emerged and a cat lady was born.

Teri is a first time author. This all came about because of her 3 cats, Lou, Mr., and Boots. She joined UnitedCats and along with her friends created "Clawless" as a fun project. She was nervous working with successful authors, but they helped her along the way. Teri feels honored to be associated with this group of women whom she has never met, but are great friends.

Teri just re-located back to her home town with cats in tow. Once a cat lady is born, its forever.

Etta Finta lives in Toronto, Canada. with Betsey, her beautiful 12 year old cat. She adores Betsey with every fiber of her being. She spoils her and treats her like the cat queen she thinks she is. Etta loves cats and often wishes she could be the "CAT LADY", you know the type, the woman with 20 or more cats roaming about the house.

Etta loves to read and by extension she loves to write as well. When she was approached for Clawless, she was delighted and yet nervous. She had fun though. That was the whole point for her; to have fun writing for Clawless along with other talented writers on the United Cats website; a website she has come to love. She was so delighted when Clawless became a book.

Etta likes to swim, bikeride and to go for long leisurely walks in one of Toronto's many parks. She enjoys spending quiet and leisurely mornings with her beloved Betsey, sipping coffee on her balcony. Etta is also interested in movies, Eastern philosophy and religions and of course, gadgets particularly if they have anything to do with computers.
