Frederick Stecker is an Episcopal minister who has served parishes from North Carolina to Maine. He has conducted extensive research into religion and culture and holds doctorates from Bangor Theological Seminary and the Institute for the Study of Violence of the Boston Graduate School of Psychoanalysis. He is an adjunct faculty member of the Humanities department at Colby-Sawyer College. He divides his time between west central New Hampshire and Cambridge, Massachusetts.
