Mark Williams

Mark Williams spent the first twenty-one years of his career as a Special Agent with the Organized Crime Division of the State Attorney General’s Office. He later traveled across the United States as a law-enforcement instructor before beginning a second career as a high school English teacher, coach, mentor, and department chair at an inner-city school in central Phoenix.

For over twenty years, he has been writing character-driven novels filled with suspense, drama, intrigue, and the kind of “cop humor” that comes only from decades in the field. His characters are bent, scarred, resilient, and deeply human, and his female characters are strong, complex, and authentic. His crime novels will hook the reader to find out what is going to happen to the very end and each have a twist the reader wasn't expecting.

Mark’s idea of the perfect ending to any day is curling up with a good book and reading until his eyes cross. His wife passed away in 2018 after nearly thirty-eight years of marriage. He has three children, ten grandchildren, and currently resides in Phoenix, Arizona.
