Alan Stransman

Alan Stransman has a Master's degree from the Newhouse School of Communications at Syracuse University, and a Master's degree from The University of Western Ontario.

He is a former teacher of English and Film at both the high school and university levels and the writer/producer/director of numerous broadcast television programs and series. He created, wrote, produced and directed the series Spectacular Spas, which was broadcast in more than 50 countries worldwide and founded one of the first day spas in the world for men, called the Men's PowerSpa, in downtown Toronto, which is in its seventh year of operation.

Alan's entrepreneurial venture was the basis for his extraordinary business book, "Don't Let Your Dream Business Turn Into a Nightmare: A Cautionary Tale for Would-be Entrepreneurs", which has been taught in university entrepreneurship programs.

Alan Stransman's most recent book is entitled "'So, Why Have You Never Been Married?': A Memoir of Love, Loss and Lunacy", and chronicles his adventures and misadventures in the world of dating and relationships.
