Martha Brown Menard

I am an educator, research scientist, and integrative health care practitioner. My goal in writing this book is to help healthcare practitioners deliver the best possible care to their clients and patients through using research to inform practice. The ability to find and critically evaluate research is key to evidence-informed practice, and Making Sense of Research provides a step-by-step guide to developing that skill. My audience is students and practitioners in the health care disciplines and health care consumers as well--all of us, really. Today, everyone delivering health care needs to be research literate, so that we can use the evidence research provides to inform clinical practice. And all of us as consumers can be better-informed patients, acting in partnership with our providers.
