Marko Lámpas

Marko Lámpas is happy to live in a country of countless opportunities where he realized that his dreams could come true. Blessed with a talent as yet undeveloped, he aspired to an operatic career. Reflecting back upon his performance career, he now looks forward to helping others, as a teacher, to achieve their place in the musical arena. In deciding to write about his musical travels and his life, he was surprisingly energized by revisiting his experiences. His autobiography tells it all, My Life in America and What Maria Callas Taught Me. Other writings include: a novel entitled Mános' Encounter With The Gods, a fascinating blend of reality and the supernatural; a suspense love revenge and murder mystery called Falsely Accused; Adriana, a love story that ends tragically; The Perils of Love, the story of a beautiful woman who sets upon a dangerous quest to seduce men and neglects love's peril; Pandora, a charming true story about a loving cat; and The Masked Assassin, a suspenseful story whose antagonist is an employee seeking revenge on greedy CEOs for the outsourcing of his job.

Marko lives with his wife Barbara, a talented soprano, on the upper west side of New York City where they both teach voice to aspiring young singers.
