Gary Glynn has been writing about the Treasure State for more than twenty years. A fourth generation Montanan, he grew up in Billings and received a degree in Natural Resource Management from the University of Montana School of Forestry. The author of Montana’s Home Front During World War II, his work has also appeared in a number of magazines and newspapers, including American History, Montana Magazine, Aviation History, World War II, and Montana West.. He was a regular contributor to the Missoulian newspaper’s award-winning coverage of the 50th Anniversary of World War II, including their six-part Greatest Generation project. He is currently serving on the on the board of his family’s ranch, as well as on the Board of Trustees for the Historical Museum at Fort Missoula.
